📋 What You’ll Do
• Prepare detailed estimates for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related scopes) on commercial projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and proposals to determine accurate scope and costs
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to refine bids
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value-engineering options
• Track market pricing and maintain vendor/subcontractor relationships
• Support business development with clear, competitive proposals
🎯 What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience as a mechanical estimator in commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and technical documents
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
