THE OPPORTUNITY
As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing high-efficiency heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential homes across Greater Boston. This role is hands-on and requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver a professional customer experience on every job.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities include:
Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, and related accessories.
Complete full system changeouts, including electrical, refrigerant, and ductwork tasks.
Ensure all installations meet ComfiTrust quality standards and local Massachusetts codes.
Provide a clean, safe, and professional customer experience in every home.
Maintain accurate job notes, installation documentation, and materials usage.
Inspect installations before and after completion to verify compliance and performance.
Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE use and equipment handling.
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if assigned) in good working condition.
Cooperate with Team Leads, supervisors, apprentices, and other installers, in person or over the phone.
Participate in training sessions to stay current with new equipment and industry best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management or Team Leads.
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience (required).
EPA 608 Certification (required).
Ability to install heat pumps, AC systems, furnaces, and ductless units safely and correctly.
Strong understanding of refrigeration, electrical, and HVAC installation practices.
Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License (required only for work exceeding EPA limits; otherwise an asset).
Sheet Metal Worker License (required only if performing independent ductwork; otherwise an asset).
Gas Fitter License (asset; required if doing gas piping).
Oil Burner Technician Certificate (asset).
Ability to read schematics, manuals, and installation documents.
Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in attics, basements, and tight spaces.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to work independently and with a team.

WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time Weekdays and Weekends as required
Participation in an on-call rotation

EXPERIENCE
Proven experience as an HVAC Installer (2+ years preferred)
LANGUAGE
Good command of written and spoken English
Second language an asset
