Job Title: HVAC Manager
Location: Novi, MI
Compensation: $85,000 – $110,000 (based on experience) + Full Benefits + Company Car
Hours: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (minimum)
About the Role:
Direct Hire opportunity for our client in Novi currently seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Manager with a Mechanical Contractor's License to lead their service and installation operations. This individual will oversee a dynamic team, manage projects from estimation through completion, and ensure high-quality service for both residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven ability to manage people, projects, and processes in a fast-paced environment.
HVAC Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Service Manager and Installation Department, including a Residential Salesperson and scheduling function.
- Manage residential and commercial HVAC installation projects from planning through completion.
- Provide accurate estimating for projects, with a strong focus on restoration company partnerships.
- Order equipment, parts, and supplies; work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and restoration partners.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
- Monitor departmental performance, staffing, and scheduling to ensure operational efficiency.
HVAC Manager Qualifications:
- Mechanical Contractor License (required).
- 5+ years of progressive HVAC experience, including supervisory or management roles.
- Strong estimating and project management skills.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication abilities.
- Proven ability to work effectively with suppliers, vendors, and restoration companies.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
