Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home consultations to assess client needs and offer expert recommendations for electrical services
- Prepare detailed and accurate project estimates for residential electrical installations, upgrades, and repairs
- Present estimates and proposals with professionalism and clarity to earn trust and close sales
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of local electrical codes, standards, and best practices
- Follow up on leads, manage the sales pipeline, and track performance metrics
- Collaborate with install crews to ensure project timelines and specifications are met
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term client relationships
- Remain available for occasional on-call support during evenings or weekends as needed
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience estimating and selling residential electrical services
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and installations in residential settings
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and job specs
- Proficient with CRM tools, tablets, and estimating software
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-driven, organized, and professional in appearance and demeanor
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
