Position Overview
The Comfort Advisor is a critical role reporting directly to the Sales Manager. This role supports HomeServe’s goal to dramatically increase installation revenue growth (Heating, Cooling and Water Heaters) within the Energy Services business in Pennsylvania. This position will collaborate with the Marketing, Business Development, Service Delivery, and other organizations to develop and execute sales strategies that will result in increased market share for traditional heating and cooling installation volumes.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to sell Installation, Lease-to-own program, and future products to residential customers, homeowner organizations, professional organizations, small commercial, or other targeted clients within the assigned territory.
- Identify and conduct follow-up on leads generated through professional organizations, trade shows, community events, technicians, advertising, and other lead-generating techniques.
- Maintain 3 appointments daily and supplement with our ride-along tech program.
- Conduct post-sale follow-up by contacting customer(s) to ensure service expectations are being met and to generate referrals.
- Makes sales presentation and proposal to prospects, identifying positive features and advantages of our products and services over those of the competition.
- Help develop an appropriate sales process and collateral for closing leads generated by demand marketing, call centers, and field engineers.
- Conduct market analysis to determine HomeServe USA's competitive position regarding products, pricing, and service levels for areas of responsibility
- Uncover and leverage customer and competitor insights to enhance product offerings and customer value.
- Responsible for the success and, ultimately, the profitability of both product sales and installation.
- Attend all training sessions required by the company.
- Assure system documentation of all your jobs.
- Establish and coordinate subcontractor installation activities while maintaining a professional business relationship.

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Competency in MS Windows, MS Word, and MS Outlook
- Ability to travel up to 100% of the time within market
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Must possess strong communication, negotiation, and sales skills; can close the deal
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership
