About the Role

The Regional Sales Manager – Midwest will drive sales growth and strengthen relationships across the Midwest territory. Acting as the primary point of contact for customers in the region, this role is key to expanding market share, supporting project success, and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. While it is an individual contributor role, the Regional Sales Manager will collaborate extensively with internal teams and external partners to deliver results and enhance market presence.

Key Responsibilities

Manage sales activity within the assigned Midwest territory by developing new business and expanding existing accounts.
Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and technical discussions with customers, contractors, and channel partners.
Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility using CRM tools.
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Support to ensure project and customer success.
Gather and share customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and market trends with sales leadership.
Ensure accurate documentation of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems.
Follow up on marketing-generated leads and support nurturing initiatives in coordination with internal teams.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical sales, account management, or business development.
Proven success managing a regional sales territory and meeting/exceeding revenue targets.
Industry experience in HVAC, telecom, data centers, or mission-critical infrastructure strongly preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills.
Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing competing priorities independently.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (60–75%).
