Job Responsibilities
- Hands-On Training - Learn from experienced HVAC technicians and installers in real residential settings across Westchester and surrounding areas.
- Installation Assistance - Support the setup of furnaces, central air systems, heat pumps, and ductless mini-split systems.
- Material & Tool Handling - Assist with parts delivery, tools setup, and material organization at job sites.
- Equipment Operation - Gain experience using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- System Compliance - Help ensure all installations follow New York State codes and HVAC industry best practices.
- Customer Interaction - Represent Bruni & Campisi with professionalism and assist technicians in communicating services to homeowners.
- Job Site Maintenance - Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Documentation & Software - Learn to use ServiceTitan, our industry-leading field service management software, for logging jobs and tracking progress.
- Safety Compliance - Follow OSHA guidelines and company safety procedures to ensure your safety and that of the team.
Qualifications
- Eagerness to Learn - No prior HVAC experience required, but motivation to build a trade career is essential.
- Mechanical Aptitude - Basic understanding of hand tools and an interest in HVAC system functionality.
- Physical Requirements - Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, or outdoors as needed.
- Strong Work Ethic - Reliable, on time, and receptive to training and instruction from senior techs.
- Good Communication Skills - Able to communicate respectfully and clearly with customers and teammates.
- Valid Driver’s License - Clean driving record preferred for long-term career opportunities.
