Position Summary
BKR National is seeking a skilled and motivated
HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, a strong understanding of HVAC systems, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heating and cooling equipment
- Diagnose system malfunctions and recommend effective solutions
- Follow safety guidelines and local HVAC codes on all job sites
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues, options, and pricing
- Complete detailed work orders, service reports, and job documentation
- Keep company vehicle and tools organized and in good condition
- Work independently or as part of a team on assigned projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of HVAC experience preferred
- EPA Section 608 Certification required
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and troubleshooting methods
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (attics, roofs, crawl spaces)
- Availability for occasional after-hours or weekend work
Preferred Skills
- NATE Certification or state HVAC license a plus
- Experience with smart thermostats and home automation systems
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
