Service Technician - Commercial HVAC + Plumbing

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team in San Diego, CA. This role is ideal for an experienced technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills in commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will hold a current EPA certification, have 5+ years of hands-on experience, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, service, and repairs on a variety of commercial HVAC and plumbing systems, including boilers, heat exchangers, chillers, and control valves

• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues and provide effective solutions

• Perform retrofitting and upgrades to existing systems as required

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate effectively with clients and team members

• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards, including OSHA regulations

• Travel to client sites across the San Diego area as needed

Qualifications:

• EPA Certification required

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC service and repair, specifically in commercial systems

• Strong working knowledge of boilers, chillers, and heat exchangers

• Ability to retrofit chillers and perform complex diagnostics

• Refrigeration (HVACR) experience is a major plus

• Must be able to pass a background check and travel to client sites
