Responsibilities: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of HVAC systems and equipment, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, and control systems. Perform routine preventive maintenance on all HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Install new HVAC systems, components, and associated ductwork. Interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Conduct system inspections and identify potential issues or areas for improvement. Ensure all work performed complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and building codes. Respond to emergency service calls promptly and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and installation activities. Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized HVAC trade program or apprenticeship required. Minimum of 7 years of experience as an HVAC technician, with a strong focus on commercial and industrial systems. Master HVAC Technician license or equivalent certification. EPA Universal Certification. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, and DDC controls. Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
