Technical Field Manager who’s equal parts

What You’ll Do (for Real)
Technical Leadership
- Perform site walks and create clean, accurate job layouts
- Verify load calculations, system matchups, and technical plans
- Provide in-field and phone support when techs hit those “uh-oh” moments
- Lead geothermal loop/trenching oversight and commissioning
- Point of contact regarding job time lines and details for builder partners
- Ensure installations meet Monarch’s high standards every time (we don't cut corners)
- Returning phone calls when customers questions are more than the CSR can answer
Team Development
- Mentor installers and service techs — without ego
- Model best practices and help the team grow their technical confidence
- Lead technical meetings and help build Monarch’s standard field and warehouse procedures
Operational Collaboration
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure jobs are ready before scheduling
- Give clear material lists, timelines, and readiness updates
- Communicate field progress quickly so customers stay informed and jobs flow smoothly
- Provide feedback on work flows to help Operations Manager document field processes
- Ensure all job material, equipment and components are secured, staged and job ready before work is scheduled or technicians are dispatched

Qualifications
- Experience in HVAC is required
- High-efficiency equipment experience
- Geothermal experience is a major plus (or strong willingness to learn)
- Ability to lead, train, and support technicians (required)
- Tech-savvy and open to innovation (required)
- Project management is a plus
- Understanding of Manual J/S/D and system design (preferred, but not required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
