Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all facility operations including building systems, utilities, and grounds.
- Lead, train, and develop a team of 3 direct reports (maintenance/facilities staff).
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Manage preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment/building life.
- Partner with plant leadership to support production goals through reliable facility operations.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and outside service providers.
- Lead cost-reduction and continuous improvement projects within the facilities function.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in facilities or maintenance leadership (automotive or manufacturing preferred).
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical).
- Proven supervisory experience with the ability to coach and develop a team.
- Familiarity with OSHA and environmental compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
