Position Overview
We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in the HVAC industry to lead and optimize our internal operations. This role is focused on driving efficiency, team performance, and customer satisfaction—not field project management.
As the central point of coordination, you’ll oversee dispatch, invoicing, hiring, and issue resolution, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This is a hybrid leadership role that blends the strategic oversight of a General Manager with the hands-on operational focus of an Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Customer Issue Resolution: Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and urgency.
- Dispatch & Invoicing Oversight: Ensure accuracy and efficiency in scheduling and billing processes.
- Team Management & Hiring: Lead internal teams (CSRs, dispatchers), manage recruiting, onboarding, and performance.
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations and coordinate across departments.
- Process & Quality Control: Refine SOPs, enforce standards, and drive continuous improvement.
- Vendor & Inventory Coordination: Manage vendor relationships and maintain inventory levels.
- KPI Monitoring: Track performance metrics and use data to guide decisions.
- Safety & Compliance: Promote a safety-first culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years in HVAC operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in service management software and operational metrics.
